Our Heritage – Our Plans

Worship Ministry

Worship in the Methodist Church rests on the Wesleyan Theological Heritage. Emphasis is on the Christian life, the practice of love put into practice. We worship with emphasis on grace, justification, assurance, and sanctification. We believe that God’s Grace is in relationship with faith and good works.

SUNDAY SERVICE TIMES:
Sunday School: 9:30 to 10:30 AM Worship Service: Sundays 10:45 AM

Worship Services

  • Each worship service offers an opportunity to participate in scripture, liturgy, and music that is designed to complement the message of a biblically based sermon that applies to our everyday life.
  • There is time for people to meet and greet each other, a children’s message, offering, and closing prayer.
  • Communion is ministered as part of the first Sunday Service each month.
  • We ask that all members and friends join with us to celebrate the worship of Christ.
We cultivate our faith and good works by active participation in the events set forth by the Christian calendar and by special days set by the church calendar.
Special church calendar days are:
Human Rights’ Day,
One Great Hour of Sharing,
Native American Awareness Sunday, HeritageSunday,
Golden Cross Sunday,
Peace with Justice Sunday,
Christian Education Sunday,
Rural Life Sunday, World Communion Sunday,
Laity Sunday,
United Methodist Student Day,
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day,
Mother’s Day, Father’s Day,
Memorial Day, and Reformation Day.
The Christian Calendar includes Christmas, Easter, and Ascension Day.

We, at Saint Andrews, ask that all members and friends join with us to celebrate the worship of Christ.
