Education Ministry
Our Education Ministry is responsible for ensuring that Christian learning takes place in everything we do. Sure, we have fun and enjoy our activities in the spirit of Christianity.
We administer and coordinate programs, activities, and Bible studies to help facilitate the spiritual growth of believers into the likeness of Christ.

Our Sunday School is our largest audience and rightly so because it is the teaching ministry of the church. It is stated in The Book of Discipline of the United Methodist Church, “In each local church there shall be a church school for the purpose of accomplishing the church’s educational ministry.”

Here at SAUMC, we are challenged to create communities (classes) in which PEOPLE of all ages experience God’s active presence in their lives. Attending Sunday School does not stop at any age—it is a FOREVER journey. With a good Sunday School attendance and participation, all programs and activities will fall into place.
